My Two Cents : Agnes falls for Nick… By : J.Leonard

Sarah Brown joined the cast of the Bold and the Beautiful with the hint that it would be a role of a lifetime; that her character would be different than any other she had played. So she began playing the role of Sandy Summers. We saw from the beginning that she was a liar. It was later revealed that she is Whip’s Jones cousin. Then the awkwardness between her and Nick and other men to be explained by the fact that she was raped five years ago; and thanks to “shining armor” Nick, she manages to find out who raped her and then save Hope from the same fate in the process, all without Bridget finding out about it.

The climax of the story was realizing her hell was over. I rooted for her. I think we all were, but then came time to tell Bridget the truth. Any normal human being would have understood her need to keep her rape to herself. Any normal human being would understand how normal it is to fall for the man that literally saved her life. Instead of expressing her understanding, Bridget turned ice cold and mean. She called her a liar and manipulator, accused her of setting her sights on Nick and called her an incubator and business arrangement. To make matters worse, Brooke Logan hid and listened to a private conversation, moments after catching the guy that raped her five years ago, stating that she might have fallen for Nick. Both Brooke and Bridget have been accusing her of having her sights on Nick. What do you think happens when you’re pregnant, relieved after five years and attacked by two women? She finally gets into her head that she is in love with that man.

Let’s talk about Bridget for a few moments. What is up with her? She also lied to Sandy/Agnes when she said that she had a perfect marriage with Nick? Did she write into her application that they divorced within a month of all her weddings? That it took what, seven times to marry him the first time? What makes her so perfect to judge Agnes? She said she understood, but we all saw in her eyes that she did not give a damn. So that just proved Agnes’ theory that Bridget would judge her. I think it would be way to predictable that Agnes falls for Nick, but I would pretend just to drive Bridget crazy.

If she is going to play that, I would have preferred her staying on General Hospital. Her role there was great and there was a lot more to her story that could have been told. I truly miss her has Claudia. She could return and turn Port Charles upside down. So I will keep watching this story, but it better be better, because Sarah Brown deserves a much better story that she is getting.
