The Story

Bay City is set nine years after the events of the TV series finale. In this story, we learn that approximately five years ago, a devastating hurricane ravaged through Bay City and destroyed about 80% of it. The devastation left several companies in ruin and the casualties because of this disaster had reached hundreds. Several citizens are still missing, their bodies have never been found. The story still focuses on the Cory family as they try to rebuild their lives. The effects of the hurricane is deeply felt within that family since it has hurt Rachel’s daughter, Amanda, who is in a deep coma for the last five years. Cameron is now raising their daughter alone and ever since the accident, the relations between him and the Cory’s are not good. The company is at the brink of bankruptcy and this  pushes Rachel to hire a new CEO for her daughter’s magazine, Brooke Logan. At the same time, a new company is forming, created by no other then Nicholas Newman, son of Victor Newman from Newman Enterprises. After a fall out a few years ago, Felicia Gallant quit Cory and bid adieu to her old friend Rachel. She is now back, with a vengeance? Donna gets the surprise of her life and she comes face to face with Vicky. Although Marley is convinced she is who she claims to be, Donna suspects that something is off. If not Vicky, who is she? Skye Quartermaine arrives in town to start fresh but is quickly entangled with a married man. Julia Stevens seeks help from and old friend to find out who violently attacked her a few years ago. Violet soon discovers that the person responsible might be closer to home. Sam McCall, in search for honest work, his thrown in a murder mystery with Cameron Sinclair. After her breakup with Andrew Stevens, Skye calls upon an old friend, Felicia Jones, to find out who her real mother and father is once and for all.
